Since 1979, PCS has offered our customers Hardware Maintenance Agreements to provide repairs or replacement for failed hardware (terminals/PC’s) and peripherals we sell and install. Likewise, we have provided customers with Software Support for the Applications we represent. (MealsPlus, POSitouch, CAP, NCR, Hotel Express Check-In)

As Systems became more complex and integrated, or connected to enterprise networks, other vendor applications, and the internet, we have been asked to troubleshoot and resolve problems and failures outside the scope of both our covered hardware and covered software.

In order to provide a single point of contact for these complex issues, we have expanded our offerings as part of a "Suite" of Customer Care Products called "PCS Managed Services". They consist of the following:

These services may be bundled into our present annual support agreements at an additional fee, so that the flow of system support to create maximum "uptime" and less drain on your in-house technical support resources is accomplished with a single point of accountability.

Other services may be "event" or Compliance driven and require specific quotes for engagement.

Managed Services

Help Desk Services

PCS Help Desk services provide you with a single point of contact and accountability for incident management, end-user client support, end-user 3rd party vendor back office support (optional) and detailed incident history reporting.

Software Management

PCS Software Management provides advanced, compliant enterprise-wide software inventory, release (distribution) and configuration management capabilities. Regardless of the size of your operation/enterprise, Software Management allows you to control at the individual device level, your software infrastructure.

Remote Monitoring & Management (PCS Virtual Technician)

With PCS Virtual Technician, professionals provide continuous monitoring and fast response remote support for contracted systems related problems. PCS will own the fault through to resolution to ensure the highest level of system availability and service.

Asset Management (Installations, moves, adds & changes)

PCS installations, moves, adds and changes Service focuses on introducing, relocating, and upgrading equipment, movement of equipment from location to location, adding a new unit into existing infrastructure, and upgrading equipment with new operating systems, memory capacity, and so forth.

Project Management (Professional Services)

PCS is dedicated to ensuring your installation/deployment projects are completed on time and on budget, every time. Our expertise with Cafeteria, Hospitality, and Self-Service Solutions, IP Telephony, WAN/LAN, and Wireless LAN technology means our knowledge and experience is second to none. Project Management includes such functions as best practices consulting, application surveys, applications/data base development, staging and testing, training, installation scheduling and go-live support.

Network Solutions & Implementation

Site surveys are performed by certified technicians to determine equipment needed, equipment locations, power considerations and wireless considerations, if a wireless network is specified. Our technicians will provide recommendations as to network requirements, coordinate installations with third party network installers, supply, terminate and test network and communication cables, switches, equipment and peripherals necessary to perform a successful installation. They will also integrate existing customer equipment that will become part of the installation requirements, as well as establish remote access, user connection requirements, network IP addresses, etc.

PCI Compliance consulting & Implementation

Compliance with security standards mandated by the Payment Card Industry is a complex issue that requires coordination with Software/Hardware developers, vendors, processors, banks, and the customers themselves. There must be secure networks, protecting cardholder data and access control measures. There needs to be regular monitoring and testing, firewalls, a vulnerability management program, customer defined, regulated and applied password security, and a policy that addresses information security. PCS offers guidance, products, software; consulting and implementation services to help contract customers successfully meet these requirements.
